Located across 288 from the Texas Medical Center and just south of the University of Houston. Riverside Terrace is made up of some Texas sized homes on Texas sized lots. Most of Riverside is zoned to Lockhart Elementary, Roberts Middle School, and Yates High School.  Parents will also find some fine charter schools such as DeBakey High School for Health Professions is also nearby.

In the past few years, this neighborhood has started to see some signs of revitalization. Just in the past couple of years, Emancipation Park has undergone a $33MM renovation, and a lot of great new homes have been developed.
